Dr. Fischer was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has been practicing in the area for almost 20 years. After graduating from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, in 1992, he completed his surgical training at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. He achieved his board certification in 2001 from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Through many years of practice, he has developed a concept of treating all patients with the same gentle, compassionate style which offers both conservative and surgical options.
Dr. Fischer is married, has two daughters, and spends most of his free time coaching soccer.
